...Gabby has been basically an olympic level gymnast with her flexibility as our educational content for Embedded BigC has changed. She has quickly pivoted, created and recreated content to support our merchants. The content she's creating is essential to launching merchants at scale, and I couldn't be prouder of what she's built so far.

Gabby is an immensely talented Instructional designer! Within weeks of joining CaptivateIQ she was able to quickly understand existing curriculum, find gaps, do research and create numerous courses for an LMS launch with constantly changing business needs. 

She is extremely thoughtful, not just in curriculum but in her interactions and communications with SMEs, product and even engineering. When requesting others time Gabby is well organized and creates simple and clear procedures & expectation documentation building consensus and understanding.

I have had the pleasure of working with Gabby across two different companies, and I was able to work with her more closely while at CaptivateIQ. Gabby has a wealth of knowledge in regards to content creation, instructional design, as well as industry best practices. In Gabby's short time at Bolt, she has made clear impact to the team. As a second hire to her function, she has the unique experience of taking on work that was historically owned by a single person, often without playbooks or written procedures. Gabby took it upon herself to write up clear procedures so that she, and anyone else who might take on her work, can more easily get up to speed.

She is constantly looking to improve herself, learn new skills, and gather feedback. She takes feedback very seriously; I never have to tell her the same thing twice. She's also particularly thoughtful in the feedback she shares with others, and shares crucial feedback even when it's hard.

Gabby is committed to learning in her role. She digs in deep and asks lots of questions, and then summarizes her learnings for others to read. She has commited herself to learning new tools, such as After Effects and Pendo. She asks for feedback consistently, and takes great care to understand and process feedback given to her. It's clear to me that she listens to understand, rather than to respond. She is deeply transparent about where she thinks she needs to improve, and is very self- aware. Gabby also extends her growth mindset beyond her personal performance - she offers suggestions for how the team overall can improve, and offers mentorship to other members of the team. Even without a formal leadership role, she acts as a leader on the team.

What truly sets Gabby apart is her proactive approach to improving workflows. Rather than simply meeting the requirements of a project, she consistently goes above and beyond to identify opportunities for optimization. Her recommendations have led to tangible improvements in our processes, resulting in greater efficiency and enhanced outcomes for our team and stakeholders. This initiative and drive for continuous improvement greatly contribute to the CSM’s overall success with merchants and effective onboarding/ training.

Gabby’s insights and expertise, combined with the forward-facing knowledge of the Customer Success Management (CSM) team, holds immense potential for generating innovative ideas and solutions.

Gabby’s greatest strength is her skill navigating revisions with difficult situations or very specific but undisclosed product details that are brought up later in the learning development process. I watched this happen during a project...and she was able to find the exact reasons [a stakeholder] wanted changes to a video without expressing frustration that project requirements weren't brought up earlier.

I was immediately impressed by [Gabby's] knowledge of educational principles and her ability to thoughtfully discuss how to apply those principles to real-life scenarios. Upon working with her, my regard for Gabby only grew. I most valued her ability to view situations and projects from multiple perspectives, as this ability not only helped her design and build learning materials appropriate for a variety of audiences and skill sets but also to be a strong and compassionate team member.

Gabby is a master in her field. She possesses the ability to turn concepts into tangible results that benefit the client. Gabby is among the most driven, proactive, and accountable teams of one I have encountered.
