Instructional Design Leader
Welcome
I'm Gabby
The average attention span is 8 seconds. Can your learning content catch someone that fast?
Mine can, and soon, yours could too.
I'm one of those "lifelong learners" and my goal is to make learning accessible, applicable, and engaging for everyone.
As an instructional designer, I've created enablement content for government leaders, growth-stage start ups, internal employees, external customers and partners, to name just a few of my stakeholders.
I'm a multipotentialite, dog lover, coffee-enthusiast, team leader, and sometimes digital nomad. Poke around, and reach out at any time! I'm here to answer any questions you may have.
Accomplishments are measured in outcomes:
Decreased product implementation from 3 weeks to 4 minutes through hyper-targeted micro-learning videos and other e-learning materials for new product line at ecommerce start up.
Owned entire process to launch company's first Partner Enablement academy, covering 2 platforms and 2 products, including internal procedures, LMS administration, educational content design, and stakeholder alignment.
Filmed and voiced 200+ software training videos in 6 weeks at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic to convert a robust, in-person, role-specific training program for an agency of 400+ employees to stay on time and on budget.
Negotiated vendor contracts to include increased operational value while coming in under-budget while maintaining positive, fruitful relationships with vendor stakeholders.
Increased implementation efficiency by launching customer-facing LMS and creating self-service, interactive onboarding materials for complex data software within weeks of joining growth-stage start-up.
Decreased post-training support tickets by 300% and increased post-training onramp speed by 50% by completely re-designing a client training program.
Earned my Master of Education in Instructional Design & Technology; graduated Summa Cum Laude while working full-time creating robust, scalable solutions for growth-stage start-ups.
Designed and iterated a technology-blended curriculum that led to 25% student achievement growth over 3 years compared to 9% national average during that same time, all while leading a team of 6 instructors and mentoring novice teachers.
